Scottre Humphrey is a running back from Seattle, Washington, who transferred to New Mexico after two seasons at Montana State. In 2024, he rushed for 1,386 yards on the Bobcats, ranking seventh in the FCS, with a 6.96 yards-per-carry average and 16 touchdowns. As a freshman in 2023, he became the first Montana State player to eclipse 100 yards in his debut, finishing with 433 rushing yards and eight touchdowns across nine games. In his 2025 junior season at New Mexico, Humphrey appeared in all 13 games, accumulating 349 rushing yards on 77 carries with five touchdowns, while adding three receptions for 22 yards and one receiving touchdown.
