Eric McClain is a right cornerback from Lombard, Illinois who attended Glenbard High School, where he lettered in football and track. At Glenbard, he recorded 112 tackles, two sacks, and nine pass breakups as a senior while earning All-State honors and team MVP recognition. McClain played his first two college seasons at Ball State, appearing in 8 games as a true freshman in 2024 with 24 tackles. In his 2025 sophomore campaign, he played in 12 games and accumulated 28 tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and two interceptions.
