Cody Thumlert is a 6'3", 225-pound defensive end from Issaquah, Washington, where he lettered in football for four seasons at Issaquah High School. As a senior, he recorded 64 tackles with 4.5 sacks, 7.0 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup, earning All-State honors and Defensive Lineman of the Year recognition. A three-time First Team All-Metro selection, Thumlert joined New Mexico as a freshman in 2025, appearing in four games while recording two tackles, both against Air Force, and earning a redshirt.
