Clay Martineau is a 6'3", 228-pound linebacker from Oregon City, Oregon, who transferred to New Mexico after two seasons at Boise State. A four-star recruit in the 2024 class, he was rated No. 5 in Oregon by recruiting services. During his 2024 freshman year, Martineau played in 14 games and recorded two tackles, both for loss, including a sack. In 2025, he appeared in three games while earning a redshirt, posting one tackle that resulted in a half-sack against Eastern Washington.
