DJ Cloyd is a safety from Columbia, MS who joined New Mexico State as a junior in 2025. He previously played two seasons at Jones College, where he appeared in nine games as a freshman in 2023 and made nine appearances as a sophomore in 2024, recording 27 and 38 tackles respectively. In his first year with the Aggies, Cloyd appeared in 10 games with one start, posting six total tackles including one solo tackle. He recorded a season-high three tackles against LA Tech on September 13. Cloyd returns for his senior season in 2026.
