Lorenzo Smith is a 6'0", 190-pound left cornerback from Farmhaven, Mississippi, who attended Velma Jackson High School. Smith played two seasons at Jones College before transferring to South Alabama and then to New Mexico State. In 2025, his junior year at New Mexico State, he appeared in all 12 games and recorded 18 total tackles with 11 solo tackles. He added three pass breakups, tying for sixth on the team. Smith returns as a senior for the Aggies in 2026.
