EJ Smith is a linebacker for the Nevada Wolf Pack who stands 6'0" and weighs 243 pounds. A native of Downey, California, Smith played two seasons at Cerritos College before joining Nevada, where he recorded 111 tackles and six interceptions across 19 games. In 2025, his junior year, Smith started all seven games before a season-ending injury, finishing with 29 tackles, 1.5 tackles-for-loss, and two interceptions. He recorded a season-high eight tackles against Fresno State on October 4 and returned interceptions for 14 and 16 yards in victories over Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky. Smith returns as a senior in 2026.
