Vincent Shavers Jr. is a 6'1", 225-pound linebacker from Miami, Florida who joined Nebraska as a three-star recruit ranked 569th nationally in 2024. As a true freshman, he appeared in all 13 games with two starts, recording 25 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack while forcing a fumble. In 2025, his sophomore season, Shavers started 12 of 13 contests and tallied 61 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, ranking second on the team in that category. He added 1.0 sack, one forced fumble, and his first career pass breakup. Shavers earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and is a three-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection.
