Pierce Mooberry is a 6'3", 220-pound linebacker from Omaha, Nebraska, who attended Millard North High School. A second-generation Husker, his father Brandon played defensive end at Nebraska from 1996 to 2000. During his prep career, Mooberry recorded 170 tackles in 29 games and 53 receptions for 1,110 yards with 13 touchdowns. As a senior, he compiled 50 tackles and six tackles for loss while catching 32 passes for 556 yards and six touchdowns. Mooberry redshirted in 2025, appearing in four games and recording two tackles in his debut against Akron. He is a business administration major and a three-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection.
