Trent Mitchell is an offensive lineman for NC State, standing 6'5" and weighing 316 pounds. A native of Gastonia, North Carolina, Mitchell attended Ashbrook High School, where he was a two-time all-state and all-conference selection who competed in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Joining the Wolfpack in January 2024, he appeared in one game that season with three snaps against Stanford before being redshirted. As a redshirt freshman in 2025, Mitchell has added 37 pounds to his frame since arriving on campus.
