Kamen Smith is a left guard for NC State standing 6'5" and weighing 325 pounds. The Wilkesboro, North Carolina native played offensive tackle at Wilkes Central, where he was a consensus three-star recruit. Smith enrolled at NC State in June 2023 and redshirted his freshman season while gaining over 40 pounds and earning ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, he appeared in all 13 games with 10 primarily on special teams. He made his starting debut at right guard in the Military Bowl, recording 62 snaps, and also played 23 snaps against Stanford. Smith is currently a redshirt junior on the roster.
