Bailey Benson is a weak-side linebacker for NC State standing 6'0" and weighing 207 pounds. A native of Covington, Georgia, Benson attended Eastside High School where he was a four-year varsity player, accumulating 164 tackles across his career. During his junior season, he recorded 66 tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, and an interception, earning first-team all-region honors for Region 8-AAAAA. Benson initially committed to Wake Forest, where he spent the spring semester of 2025 before joining NC State in May as a true freshman.
