Justin Hopkins is a defensive back for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Nashville, Tennessee native attended Ensworth High School, where he wore No. 25 and finished his prep career with 10 interceptions, 73 receptions for 1,053 yards, and eight touchdowns. He also broke up 10 passes and returned kicks and punts, earning All-State and All-Region honors twice while helping lead the Tigers to a region championship. A consensus three-star recruit, Hopkins was ranked No. 12 in Tennessee and No. 37 nationally at safety by 2447Sports. He is in his first year at Minnesota.
