Micah Smith is a weak-side linebacker for Middle Tennessee. The 6'2", 246-pound redshirt freshman from Hermitage, Tennessee, attended The Ensworth School, where he earned three-star recruit status and lettered in football, basketball, and lacrosse. At Ensworth, Smith recorded 45 tackles including 12 tackles for loss, four sacks, five pass breakups, and an interception while also playing running back. He appeared in one game during his 2025 freshman season against FIU, taking seven snaps before redshirting. Smith wears No. 52 for the Blue Raiders.
