Jaiyden Thompson is a 6'3" weak-side linebacker from Okolona, Mississippi, who transferred to Middle Tennessee from Itawamba CC. At the junior college level, Thompson recorded 54 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss across nine games in 2024, including an 18-tackle performance against East Mississippi that earned him MACCC and NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week honors. In his 2025 junior season with the Blue Raiders, he appeared in 11 games and finished with four tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss while contributing 122 snaps on special teams.
