La'Garrius Sims is a 6'3", 236-pound outside linebacker from Mobile, Alabama, who attended Mobile Christian High School as a two-year starter at defensive end, wide receiver, and tight end. He began his college career at Louisiana-Monroe in 2023 without appearing in games, then played in two contests as a redshirt freshman in 2024 with one tackle. Sims transferred to East Central (Oklahoma) for the 2025 season, where he appeared in nine games and recorded 40 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 10.0 tackles for loss, an interception, one pass breakup, and a blocked kick.
