BJ Ausmer is an outside linebacker for Middle Tennessee who stands 6'2" and weighs 242 pounds. A native of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Ausmer recorded 83 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, and 23 sacks as a senior at Ocean Springs High School, earning first team all-state honors and All-Region 4-7A selection. He then spent his freshman year at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 2025, where he posted 27 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, and 4.0 sacks while helping the team reach a 9-2 record and the MACCC championship game. Ausmer is returning to the Blue Raiders as a sophomore.
