Max Reyes is a safety for the Michigan Wolverines who hails from Southlake, Texas, where he graduated from Southlake Carroll High School in 2022. He made his collegiate debut during the 2024 season, appearing in one game in the defensive backfield and recording one tackle against Northwestern on November 23. That performance earned him his first varsity letter. Reyes also earned Scout Team Defensive Player of the Week honors for his preparation work ahead of games against Northwestern and Michigan State. A two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, he received the Humphries-Miller Scholarship Award in 2025. As a senior in 2025, Reyes did not see game action.
