Rod Moore is a safety from Dayton, Ohio who attended Northmont High School. A three-star recruit ranked 506 nationally in the class of 2021, Moore has appeared in 40 games with 29 starts across five seasons at Michigan. During his 2025 campaign as a graduate student, he made six tackles and recorded one interception across three games with one start. Moore earned All-Big Ten honors twice (third team coaches in 2023, honorable mention media in 2022–23) and was voted team captain in both 2024 and 2025. A five-time letter winner, he shared Defensive Rookie of the Year and Special Teams Rookie of the Year honors in 2021.
