Jacob Oden is a 6'1", 205-pound free safety from Detroit, Michigan who attends Harper Woods High School. A four-star recruit ranked 293rd nationally in the 2024 class, Oden joined Michigan and appeared in four games on special teams as a freshman in 2024, earning his first varsity letter. In 2025, his sophomore season, he appeared in 10 games at defensive back and on special teams, recording three total tackles, one interception against Washington on October 18, and one pass breakup against Central Michigan on September 13. Oden was named an Academic All-Big Ten honoree in 2025 and is a two-time letter winner.
