Brady Smigiel is a quarterback from Thousand Oaks, California, who attended Newbury Park High School. The 6'5", 215-pound true freshman started four years for the Panthers, compiling a 37-10 record in games he started. He accumulated 13,695 yards of all-purpose offense and 185 total touchdowns across his high school career. As a junior in 2024, Smigiel led Newbury Park to a 14-1 record and the CIF Division II State Championship, the program's first since 1993. That season he completed 219 of 336 passes for 3,521 yards with 49 touchdowns and three interceptions, adding 435 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. A four-star recruit ranked 344th overall nationally, Smigiel now plays for Michigan.
