The 6'3", 216-pound prospect from Long Beach, California, attended Servite High School, where he was ranked among the nation's top quarterback prospects by national outlets (No. 27), Rivals (No. 36), and recruiting services (No. 45) in the Class of 2025. During his junior season in 2023, Hannan completed 197 of 309 passes for 2,249 yards and 14 touchdowns while posting an 8-6 record as a starter. A senior-year injury limited his playing time, though he completed 47 of 73 passes for 460 yards and seven touchdowns with no interceptions. Hannan redshirted during the 2025 season.
