Chris Piwowarczyk is a linebacker for Michigan State listed at 6'0" and 250 pounds. A native of Fenton, Michigan, he earned first-team all-state recognition as a defensive lineman and first-team Flint Metro League honors in high school, where he also played tight end and running back. Piwowarczyk was a finalist for the MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Award and competed in basketball and track, running the 4x100 meter relay as a freshman on the 2021 Division 1 state championship track team. His father played center at Michigan State from 1988-91. As a redshirt sophomore in 2026, Piwowarczyk remains on the roster after redshirting in 2024 and not seeing game action in 2025, though he earned Scout Team Player of the Week honors twice and was named Academic All-Big Ten.
