Isaac Smith is a 6'6", 255-pound left defensive end for Michigan State in his redshirt senior year. The Wagoner, Oklahoma native transferred to the Spartans in summer 2025 after four seasons at Texas Tech (2021-24), where he appeared in 35 career games with 30 starts. At Texas Tech, Smith compiled 71 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks across 2022 and 2024. In 2025, his first season at Michigan State, Smith started all 12 games and recorded 25 total tackles, including one sack of 6 yards against Minnesota. He played 287 defensive snaps and contributed 59 special teams appearances.
