CharMar Brown is a 5'11", 220-pound running back from Omaha, Nebraska, who transferred to Miami from North Dakota State. At NDSU, he led all FCS freshmen in rushing attempts, yards, and touchdowns, accumulating 1,181 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns across 16 games. He earned the Jerry Rice Award, MVFC Newcomer and Freshman of the Year honors, and All-MVFC second-team recognition. In his first season with the Hurricanes, Brown appeared in 15 games and ranked second on the team with 460 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on 122 carries. He added 20 receptions for 138 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Brown posted a season-high 80 rushing yards with two touchdowns against Florida on September 20.
