Chris Wheatley-Humphrey is a running back from Dania Beach, FL who attended South Broward High School as a consensus three-star recruit. He arrived at Miami for the 2024 season and redshirted after appearing in one game, recording a 7-yard carry against Florida A&M on September 7. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, Wheatley-Humphrey saw action in 11 games primarily on special teams. He rushed 22 times for 108 yards with a long run of 19 yards, and returned three kickoffs for 45 yards. He notched his season-high 45 rushing yards on seven carries in a win over NC State on November 15.
