Jayden Shipps is a 6'1", 182-pound nickelback for the Maryland Terrapins. The Severn, Maryland native attended Archbishop Spalding, where he was a three-star recruit and won three consecutive MIAA titles. He committed to Maryland over South Carolina, Michigan State, Indiana, and Virginia Tech. As a true freshman in 2025, Shipps appeared in all 12 games and totaled 11 tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, and one quarterback hurry. He recorded a career-best three tackles against Indiana and posted two solo tackles and an eight-yard sack in his debut against FAU.
