Lekhy Thompkins is a 6'2", 235-pound running back from Jackson, Tennessee who committed to Louisville after considering Miami, Colorado, Virginia Tech, Memphis, West Virginia, and Purdue. A consensus three-star prospect, Thompkins transferred to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida for his senior season, where he rushed for 1,108 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 8.1 yards per carry and posting six 100-yard games. As a junior at Trinity Christian Academy, he recorded 892 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on 155 carries while adding 20 receptions for 342 yards and three scores on defense.
