Zander Hayes is a linebacker for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs standing 5'10" and weighing 194 pounds. Hayes hails from Ruston, Louisiana, where he prepped at Ruston HS and led the Bearcats to a 2023 LHSAA 5-A State Championship. He also competed in track and field, recording a 176'0" throw in the javelin, and maintained a 4.0 GPA in high school. During his freshman year in 2025, Hayes appeared in four games primarily on kickoff coverage before being redshirted. He earned CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition in 2026 and returns as a redshirt freshman for the Bulldogs.
