Zander Hayes is a linebacker for the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs standing 5'10" and weighing 194 pounds. Hayes hails from Ruston, Louisiana, where he prepped at Ruston HS and led the Bearcats to a 2023 LHSAA 5-A State Championship. He also competed in track and field, recording a 176'0" throw in the javelin, and maintained a 4.0 GPA in high school. During his freshman year in 2025, Hayes appeared in four games primarily on kickoff coverage before being redshirted.
