Grayson Hardy is a true freshman linebacker for Louisiana Tech standing 6'3" and weighing 215 pounds. The Sulphur Springs, Texas native was a three-star recruit ranked 374th overall in Texas and 266th among linebackers in the 2026 class. Hardy recorded 178 stops, two interceptions and two tackles for loss during his junior season, earning first team all-district 7-4A honors and honorable mention all-state recognition. He spent three seasons in the secondary before moving to linebacker in 2025. His father, Stephen, played football at Texas Tech under current Louisiana Tech head coach Sonny Cumbie.
