Luke Watkins is a 6'4", 205-pound wide receiver from Prosper, Texas, who attends Walnut Grove HS. He committed to Louisiana Tech over Incarnate Word and SFA after drawing interest from Texas Tech. As a senior, Watkins earned First Team All-District Honors following 73 receptions for 1,417 yards and 20 touchdowns, helping lead Walnut Grove to an 11-2 record. In his true freshman season (2025), he appeared in 10 games and caught 2 passes for 39 yards, both receptions coming against Western Kentucky on October 21. Watkins earned CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll and CUSA Academic Medalist honors in 2026.
