Jalen Mickens is a wide receiver for Louisiana Tech who attended Willis High School in Willis, Texas. A three-star recruit, he chose the Bulldogs over Arkansas State, Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin, and Texas Southern. As a true freshman in 2025, Mickens appeared in all 13 games with five starts, recording 20 receptions for 177 yards and one touchdown while averaging 8.9 yards per catch. He caught passes in 10 contests and posted multiple receptions in seven games, including a 40-yard touchdown reception against New Mexico State on September 13 and four catches for 42 yards at Delaware on November 8.
