John Curtis is a 6'3", 285-pound defensive lineman for Liberty. A native of Chesapeake, Virginia, Curtis graduated from Catholic High School in Virginia Beach before transferring to Liberty from Emory & Henry. He redshirted after appearing in one game during 2023. Curtis played in two games in 2024 and made 13 game appearances during the 2023-25 seasons. In 2025, he played in 10 games and recorded 20 tackles (nine solo, 11 assisted) along with 4.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks. He earned 2023-24 SAC Commissioner's honor roll recognition. Curtis is a redshirt junior returning to the roster.
