Marques Hicks is a running back from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, who attended Camden Catholic High School. He averaged over eight yards per carry in his high school career and recorded 22 rushing touchdowns. Hicks did not play in 2023 as a freshman at Kent State. In 2024, he appeared in two games and contributed one tackle. During the 2025 season, he played in four contests with four carries for 18 yards, averaging 4.5 yards per carry, including a 14-yard run against Texas Tech.
