Tre'von McAlpine is a nose tackle from Saraland, Alabama, who transferred to Kansas as a redshirt senior. At Saraland High School, he earned 2021 ASWA Class 6A Defensive Lineman of the Year honors and was selected as a consensus three-star prospect. McAlpine played three seasons at Texas Tech before joining Tulane, where he appeared in all 14 games in 2025 with 35 total tackles, 2.0 tackles-for-loss, 1 sack, and 1 fumble recovery. He was a Preseason Fourth Team All-AAC selection and helped lead Tulane to the American Conference Championship and a College Football Playoff appearance.
