Jaron Willis is a 6'2", 240-pound linebacker from Albany, Georgia, who attended Lee County High School. Willis began his college career at Ole Miss in 2022, appearing in one game against Central Arkansas before being redshirted. He transferred to South Carolina, where he played in five contests in 2023, recording two tackles and three quarterback hurries. In 2024, Willis appeared in four games for the Gamecocks, including action against Wofford, Clemson, and Illinois. During the 2025 season, he played in 11 games and recorded seven tackles (5 solo, 2 assisted), two fumble recoveries for 46 yards and one touchdown, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown against South Carolina State. Willis now plays for Kansas as a redshirt senior or true redshirt senior.
