Jay Harris is a running back from St. Louis, Missouri, who played at Timberland High School before attending Northwest Missouri State and transferring to Oregon. At Northwest Missouri State in 2023, he rushed for 1,433 yards and 13 touchdowns across 11 games and earned Division II First Team All-America honors from the Associated Press and D2CCA, along with All-MIAA First Team accolades. He recorded 100-yard rushing performances in all 11 contests that season. In 2024, Harris appeared in four games at Oregon while retaining his redshirt, recording 35 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries.
