Gabe Powers is a middle linebacker from Marysville, Ohio, who transferred to Kansas State from Ohio State. At Ohio State, Powers appeared in 10 games as a reserve in 2023, recording six tackles and a tackle for loss, then played in 12 games in 2024 while adding five tackles and an interception returned 29 yards for a touchdown against Akron. In his first season with the Wildcats in 2025, Powers earned his first career start against Army and appeared in all 12 games, posting 21 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss over 189 defensive snaps. He recorded a career-high five tackles against Army and earned Academic All-Big 12 honors.
