Trashon Dye is a 6'0", 230-pound linebacker from Passaic, New Jersey, who attended Passaic County Tech. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Dye appeared in four games during his first season with James Madison, recording two tackles. In 2025, he played in all 14 games at the position before transitioning to running back. He compiled eight tackles, including a season-high three against Coastal Carolina on November 29, and rushed twice for 12 yards in a win over Texas State.
