KJ Wright is a cornerback for the James Madison Dukes, wearing number 29. The true freshman hails from Charlotte, NC and attended Palisades High School, where he was a four-year varsity starter and three-star prospect. As a senior, Wright recorded 37 tackles, two interceptions, eight pass breakups, and seven blocked kicks while helping lead Palisades to an 8-4 record and the state playoff second round. A three-sport athlete who also competed in basketball and track, Wright earned Class 8A All-Conference honors and participated in the 89th Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and Under Armour Next Combine. He has not yet appeared in collegiate statistics during the 2026 season.
