Damier Minkah is a right cornerback for James Madison from Gainesville, VA, where he lettered at Battlefield High School. An All-State, All-Region and All-District selection, he recorded seven interceptions and allowed no touchdowns as a senior while competing in basketball and track. After playing in two games at Shepherd in 2023, Minkah appeared in all 11 games during his 2024 season with one start, tallying seven tackles and one pass breakup. In 2025, he started 10 of 11 games, accumulating 27 tackles (17 solo), 2.0 tackles for loss, 10 pass breakups and one blocked kick. He also contributed 19 yards on kickoff returns and eight yards on punt returns.
