Deacon Rawls is a right tackle for James Madison who stands 6'5" and weighs 310 pounds. A native of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, he attended Kempsville High School in Virginia, where he earned First Team All-Region honors on the offensive line as both a junior and senior. As a senior, he protected the quarterback through 429 drop backs without allowing a sack and helped the Chiefs reach the 5A region finals as a junior and region semifinals as a senior. Rawls redshirted in 2024 but appeared in all 14 games during the 2025 season. He is a Sport & Recreation Management major and has been named to the Sun Belt Conference Academic Honor Roll.
