Daniel Michel is a right tackle from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who attended Dillard High School before beginning his college career at Florida International University. The 330-pound lineman played in 11 games during the 2025 season at FIU, recording 10 starts. He appeared in five games in 2024 and redshirted in 2023. Michel saw action in 2022 at the high school level, where he primarily played tackle and helped lead the Panthers to the FHSAA regional semifinals. A three-star recruit ranked among the nation's top 150 at his position in the 2023 class, Michel transfers to James Madison as a redshirt junior.
