Caleb Nix is a free safety from Phenix City, Alabama who transferred to Jacksonville State from Clemson. At Clemson, he earned ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition from 2022–24 and graduated with honors in three years. In 2025, his junior season, Nix appeared in all 14 games and recorded 64 total tackles, four tackles for loss, three fumble recoveries, and four interceptions. He returned interceptions for 191 yards, including a 93-yard touchdown return against UTEP and a 72-yard return against Middle Tennessee, and also had a 45-yard fumble recovery touchdown against Delaware. Nix earned CUSA Defensive Player of the Week honors twice and was named First-Team All-CUSA.
