Marcello Vitti is a defensive back from Detroit, Michigan, who attended Divine Child High School. A four-year letterwinner, Vitti registered 64 tackles as a freshman, followed by 105 tackles his sophomore year, 76 tackles as a junior, and 80 tackles during his senior season. Over four years, he accumulated 1,144 all-purpose yards as a freshman, 1,143 as a sophomore, 1,614 as a junior, and 1,821 as a senior, adding 10, 12, 24, and 25 touchdowns respectively. His senior year, Divine Child won its first state championship in 40 years and captured 12 victories. Vitti earned U.S. Army All-American and Gatorade Player of the Year honors and was named AP Division 3/4 Player of the Year. He is a 4-star recruit with a 0.8918 rating in the 2026 class and currently returns as a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
