Landyn Van Kekerix is a 6'2" linebacker from Rock Valley, Iowa, who earned Iowa Class 3A Player of the Year honors as a prep senior. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, he redshirted that year before appearing in eight games in 2024, recording five tackles including two solo stops in the season-opening 40-0 win over Illinois State. In 2025, Van Kekerix played in all 13 games with five solo tackles, including two against Minnesota and one each against Nebraska, Vanderbilt, and USC. He holds letterwinner status and received the 2024 Next Man In Award for special teams.
