Kyler Gerardy is a true freshman defensive back for Iowa from Eldridge, Iowa, where he attended North Scott High School. Standing 6'0" and weighing 199 pounds, Gerardy wears number 19 for the Hawkeyes. In 2025, his first year of game action, he appeared in four contests and registered one solo tackle against Wisconsin and one assisted tackle in the victory over UMass. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors that season and maintains an exercise science major while appearing on the Dean's List.
