Josh Janowski is a 6'2", 294-pound offensive lineman from Frankfurt, Illinois, and a true freshman at Iowa. He was a three-year letterman at Lincoln Way East High School, where he started 40 games total and accumulated 132 career pancake blocks, a school record. As a senior, Janowski started all 14 games and recorded 60 pancake blocks while helping his team win 13 games. He earned first-team all-state, all-area, and all-conference honors as a senior and was named lineman of the year in both 2022 and 2023. Janowski has not appeared in game action during his first two seasons with the Hawkeyes.
