Carson Nielsen is a 6'7", 311-pound offensive lineman from Waterloo, Iowa, where he attended Waterloo West High School. A four-year letterman in football, Nielsen earned two-time first-team all-state honors along with first-team all-conference and all-metro selections. He was named first-team all-district as a senior and team captain that year. Nielsen also lettered twice in track and field, competing in discus and shot put.
