Dontrell Holt is a 6'5", 305-pound offensive lineman from Joplin, Missouri, where he prepped at Joplin High School under head coach Curtis Jasper. A three-star recruit rated by recruiting services, Holt was listed as the No. 77 guard nationally by national outlets and No. 16 player in Missouri by the composite recruiting rankings. In high school, he earned all-conference honors and helped Joplin reach three consecutive playoff appearances while blocking for a 1,500-yard rusher in back-to-back seasons. Holt redshirted in 2024 and is a returning redshirt sophomore for Iowa State in 2025, having earned spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
